Grain production in Belarus exceeded the level of 7.3 mln tonnes
As of August 21, grain production of agricultural economies in Belarus exceeded the level of 7.3 mln tonnes, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. As of the same date of the last year, grain production volumes totaled 8.1 mln tonnes. The average grain yield totaled 38.2 c/ha.
Agricultural organizations harvested grains and leguminous plants (without maize) throughout 1.93 mln ha, or 83.8% of the planned harvesting areas.
Agricultural economies harvested brewing barley throughout 97.8% of the planned areas. The production volumes totaled 333.06 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 39.4 c/ha.
