President of Belarus Security Council visits Venezuela

Victor Sheiman, the Head of the Security Council of Belarus, is visiting Venezuela to strengthen cooperation relations, after the recent visit of President Hugo Chavez to Minsk, the capital of Belarus.

According to Sheiman's agenda, the Belarusian Head of Security will meet with different Venezuelan government officials. The Venezuelan Foreign Vice-Minister for Europe, Alejandro Fleming, said that during Sheiman's visit "the status of bilateral relations will be assessed and the cooperation and friendship between the two countries will be reinforced."

Belarus Deputy Ministers of Industry, Architecture and Construction, Agriculture and Food and the director of oil state company Belarusneft are among the visiting delegation, AFP reported.
