Belarus Envoy Visits Cuba
Havana, Aug 11 (Prensa Latina) Victor Sheiman, a special envoy sent by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, visited Cuba August 8-10, Granma newspaper reported Monday.
The visitor and his accompanying delegation met with top officials from different sectors, reviewed current bilateral links and evaluated cooperation initiatives between both nations.
This meeting was part of the exchange of top-level delegations between Cuba and Belarus, the daily states.
The two countries recently ratified a government accord to purchase 100 Belarusian buses for Cuban public transportation.
