Beltransgaz says Gazprom has not cut gas supplies, partial payment made

MOSCOW (Thomson Financial) - OAO Beltransgaz said it is still receiving 100 pct of scheduled natural gas supplies from OAO Gazprom despite the Russian company's earlier announcement that it would cut pipeline shipments by 45 pct today in a payment dispute, Interfax reported.

The Belarussian company also said it has transferred a partial payment of 190 mln usd to Gazprom.

Gazprom says the former Soviet republic owes it 460 mln usd for this year's gas shipments.
