"The situation in the world remains complicated and controversial these days. We are now witnessing a vigorous effort to alter the agreements relating to the post-war world order, which is made to accommodate the geopolitical interests of certain states.
"Economic instability makes this a hard year. The states that do not have energy resources of their own have to make a tremendous effort to secure their independence. Some have made attempts to blackmail and impose their will on the sovereign Belarus too," said President Alexander Lukashenko in his remarks at today's reception honouring graduates of higher military education institutions of Belarus and Russia.
