Belarus has today paid off the state loan obtained from Azerbaijan.
Belarus financial circles said the state loan obtained for 12 days to pay debt to Gazprom was paid off, reports Interfax-Zapad agency.
According to the source, the money was transferred to the account of Azerbaijan this morning. Though the term of payment was to expire on July 5, it was decided to pay off the debt today.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko obtained $200 million loan from Azerbaijan. Belarus gave $187 million to Russia's Gazrpom.
