According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, the country has almost finished rapeseed harvesting campaign.
Thus, according to information of the Ministry, as of July 26, Belarus harvested rapeseed throughout 243.6 thsd ha, or 89.7% from the general harvesting areas.
The Ministry added that the country produced 392 thsd tonnes of rapeseed. The average yield totals 16.1 c/ha, down 7.1 c/ha compared to 2009.
As it was previously announced, according to the decree of the Government #1082, prices for rapeseeds of the new crop increased depending on grades by 25-27.1% (to Br800 thsd/t for grade 1, to Br750 thsd/t grade 2, or 272 USD/t and 255 USD/t, respectively).
