MINSK, July 22 (Reuters) - Belarus will reopen a Russian diesel pipeline to the Latvian port of Ventspils on July 23, the country's emergencies ministry said on Wednesday.
The ministry ordered to close the pipeline on July 17 on safety concerns [ID:nLL647738] and Moscow said it was surprised by the move, which extended a long list of Russia-Belarus trading rows of the past months, involving disputes over gas arrears and dairy products.
Moscow this week also banned some Belarussian meat imports but Minsk moved on Wednesday to calm the new spat saying it supported the Russian ban [ID:nLM217488]. (Reporting by Andrei Makhovsky, Moscow Newsroom, + 7 495 775 12 42)
