Belarus, Russia approve common cattle breeding production and deliveries balance

Belarus and Russia have approved a common cattle breeding production and deliveries balance for five years, chief of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Aleksei Gordeev stated July 4 at a session of the ministry, reported Belta.

According to him, the balance spells out the volumes of production, mutual exports and imports of meat and dairy products. Aleksei Gordeev stressed that the volumes will be controlled by the governments of the two countries so that the agreements will not be violated.

He also informed that the sides are considering a possibility of dividing the balance into quarterly plans rather than one-year schedules so that the food markets of the two countries "can feel confident".
