Explosion at concert in Belarus injures 50

Up to 50 people have been injured by an explosion that was detonated at a concert in Belarus celebrating Independence Day. Police officials said there were no details on who was behind the explosion. There are no reported fatalities. A similar explosion occurred three years ago when a home-made device injured 46 people in the northern city of Vitebsk. Ex-Soviet Belarus, lies between Russia and three European Union states, has been ruled by the authoritarian President Alexander Lukashenko since the mid-1990s.
