EEAP sells film package to Belarus

Belteleradiocompany, CTV take 150 titles

BERLIN - Eastern European Acquisition Pool's Moscow-based distrib Gala Media & Film has inked film package deals with two Belarus broadcasters.

Gala, a wholly-owned subsid of Berlin-based EEAP, sold a total of 150 titles to Minsk TV channels Belteleradiocompany and CTV.

Deal include high-profile Hollywood fare such as Clint Eastwood's Oscar-winning "Million Dollar Baby" and James Gray's "Two Lovers," with Joaquin Phoenix and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The bundles also include the upcoming Ashton Kutcher and Michelle Pfeiffer starrer "Personal Effects," "Half Light," with Demi Moore, and a slew of Til Schweiger titles, including the upcoming medieval laffer "11/2 Knights - In Search of the Ravishing Princess Herzelinde," "Keinohrhasen" (Rabbit Without Ears), "Barefoot" and "One Way."

Gala handles TV distribution for all EEAP titles within Commonwealth of Independent States and also operates as an independent licensor.
