President Lukashenko of Belarus awards his deputy KGB chief

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has awarded on June, 30 the representatives of various branches of national economy, science and culture, also the employees of law enforcement bodies and power structures "who provide peace, order and social stability", news agency BELTA reports. The order "For the service to the Native land" was presented to the Vice-Chairman of the KGB Viktor Vegera, a leading fighter against the NGOs and foreign foundations blaming them for financing the "export of revolution" to Belarus, the commander of the Minsk riot police Yury Podobed, and the commander of the Interior Ministry counterterrorism special-task division "Diamond" Nikolay Karpenkov. Online paper AFN.by ironically emphasizes that for some reason in the list of the awarded there are lacking such names of the fighters against thinking of acts of terrorism of citizens as the KGB chairman Sukhorenko, Interior Ministry head Naumov and public prosecutor Miklashevich.
