Yuschenko congratulates Lukashenko on Belarus' Independence Day
Kyiv, July 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has congratulated Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko on Belarus' Independence Day on Monday, the presidential press service reported.
"I am convinced that friendly relations between Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus, which are based on mutual respect and neighborly relations, will be developing and deepening for the benefit of our peoples and for the sake of strengthening political stability and democratic principles in Europe," the president's letter reads.
Yuschenko wished Lukashenko good health, and success in state activities aimed at developing an independent and sovereign Belarus.
