Minsk hosts Days of Turkmen Culture

The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus opened in Minsk on June 9. The events will take place at several venues of the capital. The exhibition of Turkmen arts and crafts opened in the foyer of the National Art Museum. The exhibition features about fifty exhibits - national costumes, jewelry, and carpets. The Minister of Culture of Belarus, Pavel Latushko, attended the opening ceremony.

On the same day, the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society hosted a concert, the program of which included musical compositions and dances performed by the delegation of artists of Turkmenistan who arrived from Ashgabat.

Also, on June 9, the Days of Turkmen cinema started at "Pioneer" Cinema in Minsk. The Day of Turkmen cinema opened with the feature film "Competition" on the story by Nurmyrad Saryhanov "Shukur-bahshi". Today, the program continued with the morning film session, during which young film fans got acquainted with the film by Usman Saparov and Yazgeldy Seidova "Men's Upbringing." Tomorrow, Minsk residents will be able to see the short feature film "Filial Duty" created in the studio of the State Association "Turkmenfilm" named after Oguzhan.

The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus will finish on June 11 by demonstrating the one-man performance "King of Lovers" by Turkmen actor on the small stage the of the National Academic Theatre of Yanka Kupala and a friendly concert of Turkmen artists in the Belarusian Philharmonic Society.
