"President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will start his official visit to Azerbaijan today," Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Belarus National Assembly Vladimir Andreychenko said in Minsk while meeting with chairman of Azerbaijani parliament's committee for international and interparliamentary relations Samad Seyidov, APA reports quoting Interfax.by.
He expressed his confidence that the visit would give an impetus to the relations between the two countries. Samad Seyidov also expressed his confidence that the visit of Belarus President to Azerbaijan would serve to gain achievements in the development of mutually effective cooperation and integration into Europe.
A number of bilateral documents will be signed during the visit of Alexander Lukashenko to Azerbaijan. These documents are being discussed at the 6th meeting of Belarus-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission. The contract on mutual protection of investments, agreement on cooperation in information technologies, Memorandum on cooperation between Ganja Automobile Plant and Minsk Automobile Plant are among these documents.
