Rains worsened sowings condition in Belarus
Excess rains caused the worsening of grain sowings condition in Belarus, declared Constantine Shashko, the leading research worker of the Academic and research centre of agriculture of the National academy of sciences of Belarus.
According to him, the superfluous rains provided negative influence on the harvest forming, but the situation still did not become rather threatening.
C.Shashko marked the growth of localized lodging of both winter and spring crops sowings. According to information of the Hydrometeorological centre, the majority of land areas of the country was waterlogged, especially Mogilev, Vitebsk and Minsk oblasts.
