Defence Minister meets with Belarussian veterans
General Phung Quang Thanh on June 19 warmly received a Belarussian delegation of war veterans led by Vejanov I.V currently on a visit to Vietnam.
During the meeting, General Thanh highlighted the international community's support, including Belarussian political analysts, in the country's struggle for national independence and reunification.
The Minister stated that the visit would be an opportunity to strengthen the traditional relationship between Vietnam and Belarus.
The Belarussian head delegation expressed his happiness at returning to Vietnam and his hope that the visit will strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries in the future.
