Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus to found the United customs territory

From July 1, 2011, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine are supposed to launch the United customs territory.

The parties agreed to introduce the agreement about the terms and stages of foundation of the customs territory to the head of the states, which provides the realization of the major version of the customs union between the countries till July 1, 2011, declared Umirzak Shukeev, the First Vice-Premier of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As a reminder, the beginning of foundation of the Union is planned to start on January 1, 2010.

According to U.Shukeev, on June 9, in Moscow the head of the governments will pass the law project of the United customs tariff on the meeting of the Intergovernmental council of the Eurasian Economic Community.

During the meeting, the parties will also examine the application of Kyrgyzstan for joining to the Union.
