Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus to discuss Customs Union formation

ASTANA. June 16. KAZINFORM. /Dina Yermaganbetova/ “Representatives of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus will discuss issues regarding creation of a Customs Union in Moscow”, Kazakh MFA official spokesman Yerzhan Ashikbayev has told a weekly briefing, Kazinform reports.

According to Mr. Ashikbayev, Russian capital will host regular meeting of the EurAsEC Integration Committee members – Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia – devoted to formation of the Customs Union. Kazakh delegation will be headed there by Industry and Trade Minister Vladimir Shkolnik.

"The parties will discuss issues on realization of the Action Plan on Customs Union formation within the EurAsEC, established by heads of the states in Dushanbe on Oct 6, 2007", Y. Ashikbayev said.
