Decision on Belarus-Russia Gas Venture May Be Taken in 2006 - Sidorsky

MINSK. June 2 (Interfax) - Plans to establish a joint venture between Beltransgaz and Gazprom act as a strong argument in Belarussian-Russian negotiations on gas prices, Belarussian Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky said in parliament on Friday.

"Beltransgaz, our joint venture, and gas production matter in these talks," he said.

"One can expect a joint venture or some other structure to be established" this year, he said.
