President felicitates Belarus, Portugal on National Day

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here Tuesday expressed felicitations to Belarus and Portugal on their National Day.

In his message to the Belarussian president, government and nation, Ahmadinejad stressed the importance of putting to greater use the potentials of the two sides to further bilateral relations and interests.

The Iranian president expressed hope hegemonic ambitions and arrogant attitudes would be wiped out with the establishment of justice coupled with spirituality and respect for peoples' rights.

Ahmadinejad, in his message to the Portugalese president and nation, stressed enhanced relations between Tehran and Lisbon.
