Nokia Opens Representative Office In Belarus

(Interfax News Agency Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) MOSCOW. June 21 (Interfax) - Nokia has opened a representative office in Belarus, the company said in a press release.

Sergei Khraby will head the company's Belarussian office.

"The company's plans in Belarus include expanding the dealership network, opening our own stores and branches, improving service and creating new service centers in large Belarussian cities," the release quotes Khraby as saying.

Nokia already has offices in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

Nokia is one of the world's leading producers of mobile terminals and equipment for telecommunications networks. The company had turnover of 34 billion euros in 2005.
