Syria, Iran, Belarus to establish joint industrial, Chemical and Engineering projects

Syria (Damascus) - Syria and Iran discussed on Sunday the possibility of establishing joint industrial projects in Chemical and Engineering sectors.
Talks during the meeting between the Syrian Ministry of Industry and a delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of Iran focused on establishing tractors and tires factories and two factories on Phosphate fertilizers and Urea, in addition to Pharmaceutical industry.
Minister of Industry Fuad Issa al-Juni expressed his Ministry's readiness to establish new industrial projects with Iran to achieve mutual benefits.
Syria and Belarus to Establish joint Truck Factory
In a similar meeting, Syrian General Organization for Engineering Industries discussed with Belarus Truck manufacturing Company (MZKT) the possibility of establishing a joint truck manufacturing factory in Adra area near Damascus.
Syrian General Organization for Engineering Industries has recently signed a memo of understanding with Belarusian cars manufacture Company 'MAZ' to establish a joint company to manufacture buses. (SANA)
