Belarus BPC says to sell $100 mln potash to Vietnam

MINSK, May 14 (Reuters) - Belarussian Potash Company (BPC) said it will sign a contract to supply 240,000 tonnes of potash to Vietnam on Friday for $100 million, and also forecast a rise in spot fertiliser prices to $450 a tonne by year-end.

"Today we are signing contracts for supply in the volume of 240,000 tonnes. The amount is $100 million," BPC head Vladmir Nikolaenko told Reuters.

"Market prices (for fertilisers) are constantly growing. We plan that by the end of the year the price on spot markets will be $450 a tonne," he added. (Reporting by Andrei Makhovsky; Writing by Toni Vorobyova; Editing by Dmitry Sergeyev)
