Leaders of CSTO states called Lukashenko's decision to accept Bakiev - noble

Moscow. May 14. Kazakhstan Today - The leaders of the CSTO states called the decision of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, to accept Kurmanbek Bakiev - noble. The CSTO Secretary General, Nikolay Bordyuzha, informed in Moscow, speaking about the results of the summit of the leaders of the CSTO member states taken place on May 8, the agency reports.

"Many state leaders at the summit said that the President of Belarus helped the President of the allied state in hard times. As far as I know, Belarus has not received any inquiry. If they receive it, they will make a decision proceeding from its sovereign right," N. Bordyuzha said.

"Almost all state leaders supported the decision of the Belarus President and said that he acted as a real man and nobly, having assisted Bakiev and his close relatives. Both the President of Kazakhstan, and the President of Russia acted similar when they decided to help Bakiev leave Kyrgyzstan for Kazakhstan. The main goal was: not to admit reprisals against Bakiev."
