US diplomats, marines declared non grata persons leave Belarus

MINSK, May 3 (Itar-Tass) -All the U.S. embassy employees who were declared non grata persons left Belarus on Saturday, a source at the embassy in Minsk told Itar-Tass.

According to the information of the source, eleven Americans, including five diplomats and five marines, who guarded the embassy, left Belarus. On April 30, Belarus declared them non grata persons, and they were ordered to leave the republic within 72 hours. One more American, a marine, left because there was no sense for one serviceman to remain in the embassy.

They left without excesses, the source said. They passed the passport control without problems.
