MINSK, May 27 (Itar-Tass) -- Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has been appointed as the Chairman of the Russia-Belarus Union State's Council of Ministers.
Chairman of the Union State's Supreme Council and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed a resolution to that effect on Tuesday.
Union State Secretary Pavel Borodin told the Belarusian news agency Belta that the appointment had been coordinated with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
