Moldovan, Belarusian premiers discuss aspects of bilateral collaboration

Chisinau, 23 May /MOLDDPRES/ - Aspects of the bilateral collaboration between Moldova and Belarus were the focus of a meeting between Moldovan Premier Zinaida Grecianii and her Belarusian counterpart, Sergey Sidorskiy, MOLDPRES special correspondent has reported from Minsk.

The premiers said that the present level of interstate bilateral relations develops continuously. At the same time, the two prime ministers stressed that the sides should turn to account all the possibilities to further foster the ties through joint and mutually advantageous projects.

Zinaida Grecianii and Sergey Sidorskiy explored the possibility of setting up a joint venture to assemble tractors in Chisinau, which will allow meeting the demand of the two states farming sector but also to export them.

The heads of the executives also discussed other aspects of the bilateral collaboration in different fields, especially the possibility of increasing exports of Moldovan wines to Belarus.

Prime Minister Zinaida Grecianii participates in a meeting of heads of government from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), held in Minsk, Belarus.
