Belarus President visits Azerbaijan

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is visiting Azerbaijan, APA reports. Belarus President was welcomed by Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and other officials.

Belarus delegation is composed of chiefs of leading companies, ministries and head offices.

Azerbaijan and Belarus are expected to sign about 10 documents. They are: document on friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus, cooperation in the sphere of veterinary, cooperation on phytosanitary control, quarantine and protection of plants, cooperation in pension provision, labor activity and social defense of Azerbaijanis temporarily living in Belarus and Belarus citizens temporarily living in Azerbaijan, cooperation on managing state property and privatization between Azerbaijan State Committee on Managing Public Property and Belarus State Property Committee, cooperation on standardization, metrology and accreditation between Azerbaijan State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patents and Belarus State Committee for Standardization and others.

Alexander Lukashenko is scheduled to get acquainted with Belarus National Exhibition in Baku.

Azerbaijan and Belarus have signed 26 documents up to now. /APA/
