Arrogant Powers Undermined by Resistance of Independent Countries

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a meeting with Belarusian Parliament Speaker Vladimir Kanapolev in Minsk on Tuesday, stressed that the resistance of such independent states as Iran and Belarus has weakened arrogant powers.

During the meeting, the Iranian president stressed the need for the further expansion and deepening of all-out ties between the two countries, and described Tehran-Minsk relations as profound and promoting.

"We can turn enemies' threats into opportunities for our progress and prosperity through joint cooperation," he pointed out.

Ahmadinejad further noted the charming, beautiful and rich natural features of Belarus, and underlined, "Belarus does not need the Untied States, and the people of this country can provide for their needs through utilizing the beautiful nature of their country."
