Documents on forming Russian-Kazakh-Belarusian customs union should be ready by July 2007

YEKATERINBURG. May 19 (Interfax) - A package of documents on setting up a customs union between Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Russia may be presented to their presidents by July, 2007, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Naryshkin said at the 12th Russian Economic Forum in Yekaterinburg on Saturday.

Preparations for forming the customs union are underway now, Naryshkin said. A package of 23 documents, along with those already signed within the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC), will serve as a basis for the customs union of the three states, he said.
