Belarussian, Ukrainian presidents to attend VE-Day events in Moscow

The Belarussian and Ukrainian presidents will be in Moscow for the May 9th Victory Day celebrations. President Alexander Lukashenko said this after meeting in Minsk on Thursday with his Ukrainian counterpart Victor Yanukovich. Russia, Belarus and Ukraine plan a series of joint events marking the 65th anniversary of the Allied Victory over Nazi Germany in 1945. A military unit from Belarus will take part in Victory Day parades in Moscow and Kiev. Russian and Ukrainian soldiers are already in Minsk for the May 9th parade there.
