Belarus MIA: no extradition claims from Kyrgyzstan

Belarusian Foreign Ministry spokesman Andrei Savinikh said there is no clams from Kyrgyzstan on extradition of Kurmanbek Bakiyev, Interfax agency informs.

The interim government of Kyrgyzstan previously said the country's new authorities will demand the extradition of ousted President Kurmanbek Bakiyev from Belarus once the investigation into the bloody massacre of April 7 is completed.

At the same time, a radio: Golos Rossii" reported that Kurmanbek Bakiyev will give a conference to Belarus and foreign media outlets. After meeting with Alexander Lukashenko, Mr. Bakiyev stated that he is ready to answer all points of interest and also underlined that according to his opinion, many sources have been slanting the news about Kyrgyz events, ITAR-TASS said.
