Kazakh Ambassador meets Kazakh veterans in Minsk, Belarus

MINSK. April 27. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belarus Anatoly Smirnov met with veterans-Kazakhstanis, who live in Belarus; Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Embassy in Belarus.
At the meeting the Ambassador informed of the social and economic development and the political situation in the country, the measures taken by the Kazakh Government on countering world financial crisis influence.

The Ambassador told about the Kazakh President’s Message to the Nation “Through Crisis to Renovation and prosperity”. In particular, A.Smirnov noted that N.Nazarbayev was one of the first world leaders, who voiced the prospects of the country’s post-crisis development.

The veterans, in their turn, noted Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev’s wise and strategic policy.

At the meeting a Council of Veterans-Kazakhstanis under the Kazakh Embassy in Belarus was created. The Council’s activity is aimed at liaising between the Kazakh veterans, holding promotion work among youth on a necessity of care for the elder generation, participation in upbringing of the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and peoples’ friendship, and etc.

Former Minister for Trade of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic Nikolai Tantsyura was elected a chairman of the Council.
