International Roma Day

8 of April is an additional occasion to talk about Roma rights in Belarus. From Belarusian government usually we hear laud to official authority per national minority's policy. In reality existing situation is contrary different from official opinion. Majority of Belarusian officials reports about ideal environment in ethnic policy in Belarus have been based on illusions, on inane chattering. How dose Committee on Religions and Nations affairs (state department, which dealing with that concrete issue) made decisions, nobody knows. Committee on Religions and Nations affairs never has done any research, devoted to Roma minority issue. So, where dose there conclusions come from, I wonder? Some decision, done by Committee on Religions and Nations affairs, based on not comprehensive, not adequate conclusions. Everywhere Belarusian government talks about ideal space in Roma issues.

In there same time, same Committee on Religions and Nations affairs operating with an official statistic number about employment situation in Belarus. Officially 91% of total Roma population is unemployment. I am always asking about, is it not terrifying for Belarusian government, when almost entire Roma population are unemployment? It's one instance, which illustrating real situation. I am sure Committee on Religions and Nations affairs possess all amounts of information but hiding from society. Its easy to screen behind there lie. In Belarus all initiatives are not affable. But where would we accost to, if our government neglecting us. What to do? We have specific branch of authority, named as Committee on Religions and Nations affairs, but what is purposes, main aim in performance of this Committee? Roma activists, leader are ready to cooperate with Committee on Religions and Nations affairs to solve problems, which faces us, but Committee on Religions and Nations affairs don't want. We knocking to closed door. Discrimination against Roma exists everywhere. Its an obvious fact and to resist to reality wouldn't have any outcomes. In there same time, Belarus have all amount of means to solve problem, related to Roma issue, but item of these question is, dose they want it? Its easy to close their eyes and carry on keeping silence. Silence procreating other silence, which leading to fictions and frauds in perception of Belarusian society and international as well, but not leads to solution. Actually, it might be significantly fewer problems in all everyday life in Belarus, if some clerks would start to work. What does remain is to find wisdom to for creation.
