Belarus: Baranovichskiy food plant updates the workshop for juice and jam production

Baranovichskiy complex - food producer, Belarus, updates the workshop for the production of juices and canned fruits.

"There is a plan that Bulgarian line will be launched this June for the production of fruit & berry aseptic puree and juice packing to the modern packs", the specialists of the enterprise informed.

The new line let the plant managers extend the opportunities of the enterprise significantly: it concerns the packing of the ready products and the modernization of the packs. In particular, there is a plan to start producing juices in the glass twist-off bottles of 0.75 L capacity and to PET packs of 1 L capacity; the production of jams in 0.2 L and 0.45 L will also be mastered. The specialists pointed out that at the present moment juice is sold in the glass jars of 3 L capacity; small volumes are sold in twist-off jars of 1 L capacity.

The enterprise managers expect the new line to produce 7 million of the conditional jars of juices and jams this year.

The enterprise's assortment includes around 20 juices. They are fruit & berry, and vegetable juices with pulp, 12 types of birch syrup (blended and the syrup with various herbs), various types of the reconstituted juices.

At the present moment the complex is developing the uniform brand for all products, the specialists pointed out. Right now the juices and canned fruits & vegetables are produced under "Belorusochka" trademark.

In addition to the juices and canned fruits and vegetables, the enterprise produces fruit wines, liquor & vodka, and instant coffee. These products are sold in various regions of the Republic.

Baranovichskiy food complex was founded in 1950. In 2005 the production of liquor and vodka, and coffee drinks was certified in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9000. In 2006 the requirements of HACCP standard were implemented at the instant coffee production facility. This year the complex has certified the production of the fruit wines in accordance with ISO 9000 requirements, AgroBel.by informs.
