Havana, Apr 16 (Prensa Latina) The ambassador of the Belarus Republic in Cuba, Igar I. Paluyan, said his country is working to strengthen the economic and commercial links with the island after 15 years of diplomatic relations.
In an interview with Granma newspaper Paluyan explained that the European nation has sent the first 100 buses to the Caribbean State.
The buses are of proven quality and circulate all around Germany and other countries of the European Union, he noted.
The diplomat emphasized that Belarus is interested in buying sugar, medicine and other products from Cuba.
He reminded that in 2006 President Alexandr Lukashenko attended the Non Aligned movement Summit in Havana.
