Azerbaijani FM receives Belarus Deputy FM

Today, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Igor Petryshenko, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.

Petryshenko highly appreciated the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus and stressed that there are broad opportunities for further intensification of relations in all spheres.

Mammadyarov stressed the close relations between the two peoples, the development of Azerbaijan-Belarus relations in the political, humanitarian, educational and other fields.

He said that good relations between the presidents of the two countries contribute to the deepening of relations between the countries.

The two sides highly appreciated the joint projects between the two countries in agriculture, infrastructure and others.

The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
