Baku to host political consultations between Azerbaijan, Belarus

The two day political consultations between Azerbaijan and Belarus will start in Baku Tuesday, spokesman for Azerbaijan's FM Elkhan Polukhov said.

He said in this connection a Belarus delegation headed by first deputy FM of Belarus Igor Petrishenko arrived in Baku on Monday.

The consultations will be held on the level of deputies foreign ministers of the two countries. Azerbaijan will be represented by deputy FM Khalaf Khalafov.

During the consultations there is a plan to coordinate positions of the sides regarding the state and key directions of development, expansion and deepening of relations in different spheres.

Polukhov also noted that the spheres in which the consultations will be held will be declared upon completion of negotiations.
