RK Ambassador A. Smirnov met with Vice PM of Belarus I. Bambiza

MINSK. March 7. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan Ambassador to Belarus A. Smirnov has had a meeting with Vice Prime Minister of this country I. Bambiza. The meeting aimed at discussion of further realization of the agreements reached during the working trip of V. Semashko, First Vice Prime Minister of Belarus, to our country, Kazinform reports.

According to the press service of the Kazakh Embassy in Belarus, A. Smirnov told about the Kazakh Government’s measures on overcoming the consequences of the world financial crisis and the state programs implemented in the country.

In turn, Vice Premier of Belarus I. Bambiza expressed interest in including Kazakh-Belarusian joint projects into the RK state programs.

A. Smirnov informed also of the agreement concluded during V. Semashko’s visit to Kazakhstan, on establishment of working groups which would exchange visits on a regular basis. Representatives of SamrukKazyna National Fund are expected to visit Minsk within realization of the agreement.

Besides, the parties noted importance of the planned visits of the delegations of Karaganda and other regions to Belarus for activation of inter-regional cooperation.

The Kazakh Diplomat told about the results of the visit of West Kazakhstan delegation to Minsk in February, 2009.

Issues of the oncoming VI session of the Kazakhstan-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission on trade-economic cooperation scheduled for the second half of July 2009 in Belarus were discussed as well.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the meeting and agreed to bend every effort for further development of the Kazakh-Belarusian cooperation.
