Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, Ukraine and Russia agreed to jointly fight crime

Law enforcement agencies of Belarus, Ukraine and the Russian Federation in the context of the global financial crisis will work more closely in the fight against crime. Agreement was reached at a meeting in Minsk meeting of the heads of the MIA the three countries.

head of the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs Rashid Nurgaliev noted that the economies of three countries depend on each other, "and we must strengthen control of its operational and investigative activities, to prevent fraudulent transactions." According to R. Nurgaliyev, which cites ITAR-TASS news agency, special attention will also be given credit and financial sphere, so that all funds allocated to economic entities, reaches the target beneficiaries, to avoid stopping production, mass layoffs, social explosions.

head of the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs also stressed the need to unify the administrative and criminal legislation of three countries.
