Russia gas price for Belarus remains unchanged in 2nd quarter 2008

MINSK, March 21 (Itar-Tass) -- The price on the Russian gas supply in Belarus in the second quarter of 2008 "will remain unchanged under the already agreed price formula and makes 128 dollars for 1,000 cubic meters of gas," Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Andrei Belousov told reporters on Friday.

According to him, the Friday intergovernmental talks did not discuss some changes in the gas price formula, therefore the gas price remains unchanged under the current gas price formula.

Under the same gas price formula the price for Russian gas supplies in Belarus amounted to 119 dollars for 1,000 cubic meters of gas in the first quarter of 2008.
