Belarus says recalls its envoy to Poland

MINSK, March 31 (Reuters) - Belarus said on Friday it had recalled its ambassador to Poland a day after Warsaw offered its support to a Belarus opposition leader who is disputing the results of a presidential election.

"We can say at this stage that Ambassador Pavel Latushko was recalled today to Minsk for consultations," Belarussian Foreign Ministry spokesman Andrei Popov told Reuters. "We will refrain from any comments for now."
