Belarus and Iran are discussing the possibility of supplying Iranian oil to Belarus on the swap terms, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Belarus Seyyed Abdollah Hosseini told a press conference, Belta reported.
According to the diplomat at present Belarus and Iran are in talks to develop economically viable schemes for the sale of Iranian oil to Belarus. In particular, the swap schemes with Azerbaijan and Russia are being considered.
"No restrictions apply to the sale of Iranian oil to Belarus. It is just that we need to find the most rational scheme of its delivery," the ambassador said.
