Poland - Belarus's Foreign Minister Sergey Martinov on a visit to Warsaw

Belarus's Foreign Minister Sergey Martinov will today, Feb. 12th, pay a working visit to Warsaw at the invitation of Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.

During talks Ministers will cover a number of bilateral issues, such as economic, energy, cultural and agricultural cooperation. Special emphasis will be laid on the question of the Polish minority in Belarus. Ministers will also address issues of Belarus's cooperation with the European Union, especially the country's participation in Eastern Partnership.

During the visit Ministers will sign the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on frontier zone travel.

After the meeting with Minister Sikorski, Foreign Minister Sergey Martinov will deliver a lecture on Belarus's foreign policy and the development of Polish-Belarusian relations. The lecture is organized by the Polish Institute of International Affairs in cooperation with the Embassy of Belarus in Warsaw.
