Belarus. Amur oblast intends to purchase 200 Belarusian combine harvesters

The Amur oblast of Russia intends to purchase 200 Belarusian combine harvesters, Oleg Kozhemyako, Governor of the Amur oblast, noted during a meeting with a Belarusian delegation in the town of Blagoveshchensk, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Amur Oblast Government.

The Belarusian delegation is led by Deputy Industry Minister Ivan Demidovich. The delegation includes representatives of the leadership of a number of big Belarusian companies including Gomselmash, Belagromash, MAZ, MTZ and BelAZ.

During the meeting with the Governor, the sides discussed the supplies of not only Belarusian combine harvesters but tractors, other farm machinery and spare parts for it. According to Oleg Kozhemyako, the Amur Oblast Government has already developed the financial mechanisms to purchase the Belarusian farm machinery. In turn, the Belarusian side has proposed to set up servicing centers and open warehouses for the Belarusian equipment and spare parts in the Russian region.

The agreement on supplies of the Belarusian machinery to the Amur region of the Russian Federation is expected to be signed in the near future.
