Mashaie expresses satisfaction over Iran-Belarus ties

TEHRAN (ISNA)-The Head of Iran's Presidential Office Esfandiar Rahim Mashaie expressed satisfaction over Iran-Belarus ties and said the two countries have made good agreements during his visit to the country.

Mashaie who is back from Belarus also said the two countries are willing to expand economic, industrial and trade cooperation and Iran's private sector has had successful talks with Belarus regarding its presence in the country's project.

He said he has held talks with Belarusian President, Foreign Minister, and counterpart to discuss bilateral and global topics.

Also referring to his meeting with President of Belarus Central Bank, he noted two joint Iranian and Belarusian banks are now working in Belarus and Iran is to found a third one in the country.

Saying Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko may visit Iran in the first half of 2011, he rejected that he was carrying a message from Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for Lukashenko.
