Yuschenko Appoints Bezsmertnyi Ukraine's Ambassador To Belarus To Replace Likhovyi

Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has dismissed Ukraine's Ambassador to Belarus Ihor Likhovyi and appointed Roman Bezsmertnyi to the post.

Ukrainian News learned this from presidential decrees No.250 and No.251 dated February 24, 2010.

Roman Bezsmertnyi was the first deputy head of the election headquarters of Viktor Yuschenko during the elections.

Roman Bezsmertnyi was the deputy head of the Secretariat of President Viktor Yuschenko from April 2007 until May 2009.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ihor Likhovyi has been the ambassador to Belarus since February 2007.
