Belarus expects several agreements to be signed at the Azerbaijan-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission's Meeting

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. It is planned to consider the further cooperation issues and sign a row of agreements at the next meeting of Azerbaijan-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation.

The Ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan Nikolai Pazkevich said that during the meeting the parties will consider traditional trade and economic cooperation issues till 2015.

"The other issues could be consideration of the intergovernmental agreements, in particular, the agreement on investment protection, the agreement between the national banks, on environment and others. I think the majority of agreements will be signed. The parties are also expected to discuss future cooperation," Pazkevich said.

The Ambassador said that they hope the meeting will be held in March or April.

Previous meeting was held in March 2007 within the visit of Belarus Prime Minister Sergei Sidorskoy to Baku. At the end of the meeting it was signed the document entitled "The Events for Implementation of the Long-Term Socio-Economic Development Programme between Belarus and Azerbaijan till 2015".
