Iran, Belarus Emphasize Development of Economic Cooperation

Sample ImageThe Minister of Industry of Belarus Anatoli Rusetski called for development of mutual cooperation with Iran. According to IRIB correspondent from Minsk, in his meeting with Iran's Minister of Commerce Masoud Mir-Kazemi, the Belarusian minister of industry congratulated the success of Iranian scientists in launching Omid data-processing satellite into orbit, while underlining that Belarusian government has always called for broadening ties with Iran.

The Belarusian minister further referred to presence of Iranian and Belarusian companies in the two countries, while calling for establishment of economic commissions as an important factor that leads to resolution of these companies' problems.

Meanwhile, Mir-Kazemi emphasized on Islamic Republic of Iran's preparedness for enhancement of cooperation with Belarus. He considered the two countries' cooperation in joint economic plans as the best option in confronting potential consequences of global economic meltdown.

The Iranian minister also met and conferred with Iranian investors in Belarus and discussed investment opportunities in Belarus with them.
